Just before the end of 2016, rising star Reppatwa delivers a new track (and visual for) ‘Until Further Notice’, produced by wntr (who incorporates a sample of Crystal Waters’ ‘Gypsy Woman’). Enjoy that above and look out for plenty more from Reppatwa in the new year.
For his latest, Reppatwa puts his special blend of bars on Maxsta’s ‘Wu-Tang Strapz’ (produced by Maschine Man Tim), which he previously upgraded last year. The new version comes complete with an accompanying visual courtesy of Box Motion Films. Check it out above.
Much like the New Gen movement has been doing recently, rising star Reppatwa decided to harmonise over the genre-bending, laid-back cut ‘Know What It Means’. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing a visual for the track soon.
You never know where the drinks take you, as can be heard on Reppatwa’s latest track ‘Malibu’, produced by Lewis Cullen. The track is said to appear on the London emcee’s forthcoming project Until Further Notice…check it out below.
In celebration of his 21st birthday, Reppatwa blesses the fans with a new project titled Until Further Notice, which features a couple of recently released cuts and production from Atu, Wntr, Slomdug and more. Stream in full below.
Two new releases from London’s rising talent Reppatwa: a visual for the Max B-inspired ‘Wave’ (above) and a new track titled ‘So Far To Go (If It’s Cool)’, a proper dedication to the late J Dilla (below), whose birthday was yesterday.
Last year (4th January), Reppatwa blessed the world with a sick new project titled Reppalations, which was different that other releases due to his nostalgic Hip-Hop feel and multi-layered flows from the London emcee. On its one-year anniversary, Reps decided to reveal a new (remastered) stream of the project via YouTube; you can enjoy that above.
If you like what you hear, you can also support by purchasing Reppalations via Reppatwa’s Bandcamp.
Today, Reppatwa liberates a new track titled ‘We Could Talk About’, produced by Atu and (seemingly) inspired by some classic Erykah Badu. Simply put, any time we listen to fresh music from the London rhymer brings us back to a Summer day, much in the same way you’d listen to A Tribe Called Quest or a non-angry Kendrick Lamar; his s*** is that dope.
Check out ‘We Could Talk About’ below, and stay tuned for a big 2016 from Reppatwa.
