It Looks Like Kendrick Lamar’s New Album Won’t Be Dropping Today, After All

Categories NEWSPosted on

Here comes some bad news: after hinting at an album release date on 7th April (as in today), Kendrick Lamar’s iTunes has revealed a pre-order link for his yet-to-be-titled album (or is it called ALBUM?). On that page, it looks as if the new project will be released on the 14th. Ah well.

Radiohead & Kendrick Lamar Are Headlining Coachella; Lady Gaga Replaces Beyoncé (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Well…it looks like BeyoncĂ©’s twin pregnancy is taking her out of this year’s Coachella Festival. Good new though — not only is she confirmed for 2018, Lady Gaga will also be taking her place for the upcoming run. So there’s that.

Without a doubt, Coachella 2017 will be massive (as it is every year). Recently, the full line-up for the festival was released, which sees Radiohead, BeyoncĂ© and Kendrick Lamar as headliners….they’ll be joined by essentially everybody — The xx, Travis Scott, ScHoolboy Q, Future, Gucci Mane, Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, Lorde, Lil Uzi Vert….everybody.

You can check out the impressive line-up below. Coachella takes place in Indio, California 14th to 16th April and 21st to 23rd April. Get your tickets here.

Kendrick Lamar, Future & Lil Wayne To Headline Rolling Loud

This year’s Rolling Loud festival in Miami, Florida is one of pure Hip-Hop awesomeness. Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Young Thug are tapped to headline, while the stage will also see appearances from Mac Miller, Kevin Gates, Post Malone, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Migos, 21 Savage….the line-up is pretty top-notch from top to bottom.

You can see the full list below and get your tickets here. Rolling Loud takes place 5th to 7th May in Bayfront Park.

Beyoncé & Kendrick Lamar To Headline Coachella?

Looks like Coachella could be looking to outdo itself for 2017. According to Hits Daily Double, the Californian event has tapped BeyoncĂ© and Kendrick Lamar as headliners…it’s also been rumoured that Radiohead and Oasis could be joining as well. Gotta be honest — not so sure about the Oasis one.

Hopefully, confirmation will appear for the festival — which takes place 14th to 16th April and 21st to 23rd April — sooner than later. In related news, it’s been reported that Kendrick recently lost a copyright infringement case (although not by much).

Mary J. Blige Feat. Kendrick Lamar – American Skin (41 Shots)

Remember that unintentionally hilarious moment between a singing Mary J. Blige and Hillary Clinton? Now, we get to hear Blige’s full cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘American Skin (41 Shots)’, which is also joined by a powerful Kendrick Lamar. You can check it out below.

Beautiful message aside, still can’t help but chuckle when we hear Blige singing those lyrics…

ALSO: Did y’all see what Blige’s estranged husband is asking for (money-wise) in divorce court? Sheesh!
