This year’s Rolling Loud festival in Miami, Florida is one of pure Hip-Hop awesomeness. Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Young Thug are tapped to headline, while the stage will also see appearances from Mac Miller, Kevin Gates, Post Malone, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Migos, 21 Savage….the line-up is pretty top-notch from top to bottom.
You can see the full list below and get your tickets here. Rolling Loud takes place 5th to 7th May in Bayfront Park.
Over the weekend, Future’s DJ Esco provided a guest mix for the latest episode of OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1, which — as we expected — he used to premiere some new music from his boss (who is celebrating his birthday, by the way). Below lies ‘Ain’t Tryin’ and ‘Poppin Tags’, which has been made available for streaming (via WorldStarHipHop).
While everyone watched his collaboration with Rae Sremmurd skyrocket, Gucci Mane was secretly working on a new project alongside fellow Atlanta don Future. Yesterday, they revealed the cook-up to be Free Bricks 2K16, a 5-track project filled with all the awesome you know these two artists for. Gucci also explained the surprise to Miss Info:
Last night, me and Future met up in Atlanta. We ditched our entourages, we didn’t book my usual studio, or his usual studio…it’s like we knew we wanted to fly under the radar… There was like this positive competition in the room. I’d hear him go in on a verse, and I knew I had to step up.
He would say, the same back, and we knocked out 6 songs so crazy that I knew we couldn’t just sit on it. We talked about recording some more, adding more songs. But I didn’t want to over think it or over plan things. Even Future didn’t think we were dropping this tonight. This is the freshest it can get. These joints ain’t even 24 hours old. That’s like bringing you in the studio with us.
Tourmates Future and Drake are back with a new for-sure hit record titled ‘Used To This’, which shows the two at their AutoTuned best post-What A Time To Be Alive. The track — produced by Zaytoven — also comes equipped with a visual that sees the dynamic duo on the football field with a bevy of women.
Check out ‘Used To This’ above and purchase the single here. Word on the street is that Future’s sequel to Beast Mode could be touching down soon…
A$AP Mob is busy. In addition to A$AP Rocky’s big release and the forthcoming Cozy Tapes project, A$AP Ferg had a big drop of his own — the official remix to ‘New Level’, which sees him and Future joined by Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert. On this version, Ferg gets into the current social injustice happening in America, which Rocky and Vert stick to the usual script (money, drugs and women).
DJ Esco drops off his latest visual for ‘Check On Me’, which features Future & Fabolous (of latter’s version of which appears on Summertime Shootout 2). The clip sees the trio taking over New York City, from penthouse to strip club to studio.
Check it all out above…you can also stream Esco’s Project E.T. mixtape here.
For his latest visual, DJ Khaled picks the Major Key mega-posse cut ‘Do You Mind’, which features assistance from Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Future, August Alsina and Jeremih. In the clip (which sees appearances from all collaborators, remarkably), the We The Best boss stresses over a relationship while trying to win more…and it’s as amazing/unintentionally-hilarious as his previous efforts.
Somehow, we overlooked Jeezy’s latest track ‘Magic City Monday’, which was released at some point this Summer. Now, the D. Rich-produced track gets an upgrade from Future and 2 Chainz in the above visual (which also features Trey Songz, Young Dolph and — you guessed it — plenty of strippers on deck).
This is weird and random: an audio recording is making waves around the internet that sounds like Future…and whoever it is sounds pissed at Diddy over not bringing Ciroc (or something). Listen to it for yourself below:
We got all this liquor and ya’ll want Diddy to come to my room and this n***a ain’t even brought no Ciroc. I don’t want this n***a around. Diddy an old a** b*tch…
