We don’t yet know when Chris Brown is releasing Heartbreak On A Full Moon; until then, fans can certainly enjoy his end-of-the-year banger ‘Dat Night’, which features fellow Virginia Thug-&-B artist Trey Songz and Atlanta star Young Thug. Check it out below.
For his latest visual, DJ Khaled picks the Major Key mega-posse cut ‘Do You Mind’, which features assistance from Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Future, August Alsina and Jeremih. In the clip (which sees appearances from all collaborators, remarkably), the We The Best boss stresses over a relationship while trying to win more…and it’s as amazing/unintentionally-hilarious as his previous efforts.
Enjoy the visual for ‘Do You Mind’ above.
This fraudulent assault case that Chris Brown’s dealing with is now affecting his ability to travel and perform.
Next week was supposed to see the R&B star in Tokyo for some tour dates, but — thanks to Miss California’s Baylee Curran and her hilariously-savage testimony/accusations — Brown entry has been denied by Japan. According to the country’s consulate official, Japan doesn’t allow entry for visitors with a criminal background or open case (source). This certainly isn’t new for Brown, who has received resistance from the UK and Australia in the past.
In related news, Chris Brown makes his message about said case (and woman) clear with the above t-shirt.
Expect this to be a chart-topping hit. Two of R&B’s biggest stars today — veteran Chris Brown and relative newcomer Bryson Tiller — have joined forces for the collaboration ‘Keep You In Mind’. This is absolute baby-making music as its finest.
Check that out below; we’ve also included the recently-released full version of Brown’s track ‘Lady In The Glass Dress’.
It sounds like Chris Brown is addressing his latest troubles in his new Dance number ‘What Would You Do?’. For the record, Brown has since posted bail and the woman who is accusing Brown of this nonsense has more holes in her story/life than swiss cheese (corny, but you get the point).
Check out the music below.
TL;DR: Rich black man keeps getting hassled by agenda-heavy media, probably to cover up what’s happening because another rich black man decided to fight against the savageness happening in his country. There, I said it.
At first, we came upon this story of Chris Brown currently in the middle of a flippin’ stand-off with the Los Angeles SWAT, based on accusations that he pointed a gun at a woman. Then, we check out what Brown — currently holed up in his home, apparently — had to say about the latest attack on his character (you can see more via his Instagram):
Now, it’s hard not to notice that this is probably the millionth time that we’ve seen Brown in a news story post-Rihanna, only for it to be complete bulls*** at the end of the day. We also can’t help but think about when Dr. Dre tried to pull in his own f***in’ driveway only to be handcuffed by police. Just because some d***head that wasn’t getting his way accused him of something. So, we’re not wasting any more time on this.
[Nope: not f***in with that McChicken bulls*** either.]
Here’s what you want to know about today: American football player Colin Kaepernick decided to remain seated during his country’s national anthem, and now he’s getting virtually set on fire because of it. This decision was mainly for two reasons:
- You know…the whole police killing Blacks and Blacks being oppressed thing happening in America, and;
- It turns out that a portion of the song happily talks about killing slaves (thanks Francis Scott Key).
So, given the awesome about the positive (and negative) content on this matter, we’d like to provide you with some great links below. As far as our opinion on the matter, it’s simple — if you’re against an American practicing his rights of protest, you can go and f*** yourself with the still-flaming jersey you’re burning right now.
Chris Brown is back with a new visual for his single ‘Grass Ain’t Greener’, which was released back in May. The clip sees the singer taking part in a secret party taking place in a desert (because why not?).
Enjoy the video above and pick up the single via iTunes.
As can be seen in the message above, Chris Brown is one of many who are tired of the senseless killings happening in America at the hands of the police. In response, the R&B star has liberated a couple of tracks — ‘A Lot Of Love’ and ‘My Friend’ — in dedication of. Check them out below.
R.I.P. Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.
Once again, Chris Brown links up with South London’s own Section Boyz for ‘Shabba’, which also features Wizkid and Hoody Baby. In our opinion, this one meshes a lot better than the Quavo-assisted ‘Whippin‘ (could be thanks to Mike WiLL Made-It’s production).
Check out ‘Shabba’ below. UPDATE: Interestingly enough, Wizkid has revealed his own version of the track, which trades Section Boyz and Hoody Baby for heavyweights (and fellow Chris Brown peers) French Montana and Trey Songz. We’ve added that version below as well.
As you probably know, the fallen-hard-from-grace Suge Knight hasn’t been having a great couple of years, which — taking away more more distant issues for this post — seem to have began following his being shot at 1 OAK, where Chris Brown was hosting a party. Now, Suge is suing Chris Brown for that, and everything that’s happened since.
As seen via ABC News:
The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court accuses Brown and the West Hollywood nightclub 1 Oak of failing to have adequate security and allowing at least one armed person into the venue during the party.
Knight survived gunshot wounds to the abdomen, chest and left forearm. The Death Row Records co-founder has cited complications from those injuries, including a blood clot, in court appearances on an unrelated murder charge.
His attorneys say Knight’s fear months after the shooting led him to flee when he was attacked in his car, running down two men and killing one. Knight, who is a two-time convicted felon, is in jail awaiting trial.
Somehow, another artist — Pia Mia, who is also managed by Chris Brown’s manager — was also named in the lawsuit. Currently, it’s not confirmed how much Suge is trying to get from Brown.
Nonetheless….good luck with that. You really can just sue anybody, no matter how ridiculous the reasons.
Big news for this year’s Fresh Island Festival: Chris Brown has been added to the Croatian event*, adding to a slew of European dates that Brown will be making this Summer. In addition, Big Narstie, Sian Anderson and Julie Adenuga will be manning Noisey’s Grime Karaoke.
Check out more information on Fresh Island here, which takes place 12th to 14th July at Zrce Beach.
*So…they haven’t forgotten that Kehlani‘s also performing, right?
