Super-producer group Stargate — who, along with Max Martin, hold a pretty strong monopoly on all of your favourite Pop hits — have links with Sia and P!nk for a new track of their own titled ‘Waterfall’. Check it out below.
Last week, Frank Ocean was back on the digital airwaves for the second episode of blonded RADIO (Beats 1), where he decided to unveil a new track titled ‘Chanel‘. Then — before the show was over — Ocean hit the listeners over the head with a remix of the track, which features A$AP Rocky. Check that awesomeness out below.
New mother Marsha Ambrosius is back with a poignant new track for ‘Don’t Wake The Baby’, which speaks on much-needed “lovin'” even with a newborn. Speaking to The FADER, the singer-songwriter revealed that the song was originally written for another R&B star:
I wrote it for Beyoncé… It’s my interpretation of still wanting to f*** after an argument with your spouse — just DON’T WAKE THE BABY!!! I’m a new parent and I barely sleep as it is. So if she’s sleep, BE QUIET!!! Shhhhhhh.
Check out ‘Don’t Wake The Baby’ below.
The Young Money trinity returns. This week, Nicki Minaj delivers three new tracks — one of which seems to speak on her failed relationship with Meek Mill, while another sets its sights on ‘ShETHER’ opponent Remy Ma. You can check out all three below.
For his latest, John Tillman — aka Father John Misty — reveals a new track from his forthcoming album Pure Comedy. Check out ‘Total Entertainment Forever’, which Genius explains rather poignantly:
He warns against allowing technology to progress to the point where it encompasses our lives absolutely, thus leading to the downfall of our species. Josh Tillman believes we are literally being entertained to death.
Def Jam recently liberated the second instalment of their Direct Deposit compilation, which contains some notable gems — including a new track from the illusive (nowadays) Iggy Azalea. Check out the Australian artist’s single ‘Can’t Lose’, which features Philly artist Lil Uzi Vert. Going off of recent tweets, we’ll be hearing more from Iggy soon.
In related news: Iggy also threw up some impromptu photoshoot pics, which you can see below (possibly NSFW, depending on your current location).

Zedd continues his string of hit Pop collaborations with his latest single ‘Stay’, which features Canadian star Alessia Cara. Both artists explained how the collaboration came together and it’s meaning:
I think this song is right in the middle between where Alessia is musically and where I am and that’s what’s so exciting about it… I’ve been trying to knock down barriers around music genres and this is another step for me to walk towards a musical future where I can create any genre I want without people putting me in a box. – Zedd
It still feels like me, just an elevated pop sound… I don’t know that I would be in this bold on my own stuff so it’s cool to try these things with collaborators…Zedd was really hands on and made sure I was involved in every part of the process. – Alessia Cara
