Kendrick Lamar drops a new track ‘The Heart Part 4’. Check it out below.
Welp, it’s finally here. Earlier this evening, Drake debuted his new album — a “playlist” project titled More Life — on Apple Music’s Beats 1 via his OVO Sound Radio show. From the looks of things, the Canadian star has redeemed himself to those who were critical of Views…it also looks like he’s still throwing shots as his competition (mainly, Meek Mill).
More Life contains 22 tracks and features appearances from Giggs, Skepta, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Sampha, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Quavo, Young Thug (who is on fire right now lyrically) and more. Stream below via Apple Music, Spotify or — gasp! — TIDAL.
Last week, Frank Ocean was back on the digital airwaves for the second episode of blonded RADIO (Beats 1), where he decided to unveil a new track titled ‘Chanel‘. Then — before the show was over — Ocean hit the listeners over the head with a remix of the track, which features A$AP Rocky. Check that awesomeness out below.
The Young Money trinity returns. This week, Nicki Minaj delivers three new tracks — one of which seems to speak on her failed relationship with Meek Mill, while another sets its sights on ‘ShETHER’ opponent Remy Ma. You can check out all three below.
Def Jam recently liberated the second instalment of their Direct Deposit compilation, which contains some notable gems — including a new track from the illusive (nowadays) Iggy Azalea. Check out the Australian artist’s single ‘Can’t Lose’, which features Philly artist Lil Uzi Vert. Going off of recent tweets, we’ll be hearing more from Iggy soon.
In related news: Iggy also threw up some impromptu photoshoot pics, which you can see below (possibly NSFW, depending on your current location).
Cadenza has been killing the dancefloors with his Caribbean-led sounds for a while; now, it looks like he’s ready to bring on another, darker (and more hard-hitting) style with his forthcoming EP Hijack. First, we get a new track titled ‘Til We Do It’, which features Prynce Mini and Bugle. Check it out below and pick up the single here.
It’s always great to see Azealia Banks in the news for actual music. This week sees the New York artist dropping off a new track ‘Crown’, which is produced by Lunice. Not sure if this is just an unreleased cut she felt like liberating or a sign of a new project on the horizon…it’s dope, nonetheless.
