Fans of M.I.A. should be familiar with the track ‘A.M.P (All My People)’, which is taken from her new album AIM. Now, the versatile artist reveals a new version of the song, now titled ‘AMP Drums’, which sees production from Switch, Riton and M.I.A. herself (the original version was produced by Leo Musti and Skrillex).
For their latest, Major Lazer links with (Mad Decent-signed supergroup in their own right) Bad Royale for the new collaboration ‘My Number’, which samples Toots & The Maytals’ 60’s hit ’54-46 (That’s My Number)’. Said the featured act to Billboard:
It was Major Lazer that inspired us to start Bad Royale… We were the self-proclaimed biggest fans and still are. Today, releasing a collaboration with them is honestly incredible to us.

For his latest, KAYTRANADA has blessed the world with a dope remix of Afrika Bambaataa and the Soulsonic Force’s iconic 80’s hit, ‘Planet Rock’. The track is taken from the new documentary (and soundtrack EP) 808, based on the Roland TR-808 drum machine that served as a major piece of Hip-Hop history.
Flume has decided to follow-up his latest release Skin with a new EP, titled Skin Companion I. As the title suggests, the four-track blend serves as an accompaniment to the aforementioned album (the music was “written around the same time”).

After some weird teasers, The xx officially announce their return to music by way of a new album titled I See You; their first offering from that release is titled ‘On Hold’, which samples Hall and Oates classic cut ‘I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)’. The track was produced by Jamie xx and Rodaidh McDonald.

Chaz Bundick — also known as Toro Y Moi — has been dropping a lot of new music since last year: we’re still rocking out to What For?, Samantha and — more recently — his Live From Trona project (not to mention videos and loose gems here and there). Now, it’s been revealed that Chaz is teaming up with previous collaborators (and twin musicians) Jaren and Jonathan Mattson for a new release titled Chaz Bundick Meets The Mattson 2, which is set to be released 31st March.

Simon Green — better known as Bonobo — has announced his new album titled Migration, which is set to be released 13th January via Ninja Tune (pre-order here)…the project will feature appearances from Rhye, Nick Murphy (you might know him as Chet Faker), Nicole Miglis, Innov Gnawa. Bonobo explains:
My own personal idea of identity has played into this record and the theme of migration… It’s interesting how one person will take an influence from one part of the world and move with that influence and affect another part of the world. Over time, the identities of places evolve.
