Make no mistake: Ed Sheeran is holding the music crown for 2017 thus far, thanks to the release of his new album ÷ (or Divide). Thanks to ‘Goliath’ album sales, Divide has scored number one spots in a whopping 14 countries — including on the UK’s Official Album Chart (672,000 units sold) and America’s Billboard 200 (451,000 units sold). In addition, all 16 tracks on Divide have landed on the Top 20 singles chart (with some controversy, apparently). Save to say that Sheeran’s the one to beat this year.

In related news, the singer-musician has also announced some North American dates, which are all set to kick off this Summer. You can check out that schedule — as well as the announcement, and his alcohol-fuelled interview with The Breakfast Club — below.
