Yesterday, Ms. Lauryn Hill joined forces with TIDAL to create a new festival in Brooklyn titled Diaspora Calling, named after the African diaspora. As such, the Fugees alum links with many African artists and musicians, along with those that have roots in the motherland — Machel Montano (Trinidad), Stephen “Ragga” Marley (Jamaica), Stonebwoy (Ghana), Mr. Eazi (Nigeria), EL (Ghana), Wondaboy (Nigeria), JoJo Abot (Ghana) and Paul Beaubrun (Haiti).

The venue, Kings Theater, was also turned into an art gallery, filled with works curated by Hill alongside Brooklyn’s Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, Nader Haitian Art and the Haiti Cultural Exchange.

Above, fans can stream the entire event in full.
