Ian Connor Accused Of Rape By Two Women; Connor Responds
Hip-Hop fashion tastemaker Ian Connor is now experiencing the downside that comes with rising to fame — two women have forward claiming that they were raped by the stylist.
The first accusation comes from Malika Anderson, who tells her story on her personal blog, which goes into great detail about the beginning of her relationship with Connor and how things lead to that point (she even reveals contracting gonorrhoea from the encounter). The alleged rape apparently took place in 2014, and she pressed charges. You can read that in full here.
A second women — singer Jean Deaux — then responded to Anderson’s open letter with a story of her own. That can be read on her Tumblr page.
UPDATE: Ian Connor has responded to the rape accusations, dismissing the claims as bad karma (from “finessing” women in the past) and an attempt to de-fame him in the midst of increasing success. You can read those tweets below.
