Tinchy Stryder is back. The Grime/UK Rap veteran has returned with a new track and visual for ‘Allow Me’, which features Boy Better Know’s Jme and sees production from long-time collaborator Davinche. Below, Stryder explains the single and clip, which was shot by Dman & Capes in Croydon (source):
‘Allow Me’ came about cos at the time, I felt like a lot of people were always being so personal, asking me questions & getting into my business as if they knew me that well, when they really didn’t. Also the feeling of people wondering why I hadn’t released any new music & suggestions of what I should do next or not do, what I should have or shouldn’t have done.
I found myself thinking ‘leave me alone, drop me out of your gossip & give me my space’ really a lot of the time lol. So obviously I had to give my bruvas Davinche and Jme a call and drop a banger on them!!!’
‘Allow Me’ will appear on Tinchy Stryder’s forthcoming album 360/The Cloud 9 LP, released 8th April (pre-order via iTunes). BONUS: Tinchy performs the new track for Charlie Sloth’s Rap Up below.
