Baauer’s a long way from ‘Harlem Shake’. On Friday, the American DJ-producer liberated his debut album Aa, which features appearances from Rustie, M.I.A., Novelist, Future, Pusha T and more. You can stream (or download) that via Apple Music/iTunes.
Below, Baauer also gave his opinion on the aforementioned single that gave him his initial dose of fame, via an interview with The Guardian:
It became me, that’s all I was. There was a long stretch of time where that’s all anyone would want to hear when I played gigs. I would purposefully not play it and sometimes I’d overhear people being like: ‘Fuck him, he didn’t even play it, that’s all anyone cares about.’ I’d be so bummed. It just got annoying.
