Wu-Tang Clan Reveal What Happened To Drake’s ‘Wu-Tang Forever’ Remix
Last year, Drake dropped the successful album Nothing Was The Same, and on that track was the (initially) polarising Wu-Tang Forever (basically, the song was dope, but the name was often viewed in a less negative light). Then, a major thing happened: Wu-Tang reportedly contributed verses to the song in order to create was mega-remix that would have solidified Drake as the guy you can’t talk any more s*** to about Hip-Hop.
Except it never did happen; at least, the now-mythical ‘Wu-Tang Forever’ never got released. Today, MTV asked the Wu the question (above) we all wanted to know: what the hell happened to that remix?
In other news, the Wu has added some extra momentum for their forthcoming project, A Better Tomorrow, by inking a distribution deal with Warner Bros. Records and now sees an official release date on 2nd December. This is in addition to their previously reported collaboration on a special edition speaker with Boombotix; you can read more on that here.
UPDATE: Wu-Tang also spoke on how they all got on the same page, particularly in the midst of RZA’s growing “issues” with Raekwon (below).
